The 5 Browns – Desirae Brown, Deondra Brown, Gregory Brown, Melody Brown, and Stephen Beus – all attended The Juilliard School in New York, where they were joined by the Browns’ youngest brother Ryan (now retired from the stage). The quintet enjoyed its first wave of critical attention in February of 2002, when People magazine dubbed them the “Fab Five” and they were featured on Oprah and 60 Minutes. Singing Sergeants of the U.S. Air Force Band Thursday King Concert Hall
The Singing Sergeants, stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., use music to bridge language and cultural differences and to help advance positive diplomatic relations through song. The chorus is regularly featured at national music education conferences, including the American Choral Directors Association, the Music Educators National Conference, and Chorus America. The group includes Fredonia alumni Michael Aiello (bass) and Hillary Grobe (alto).

MS #6: One Act Play Festival - 4 Friday Bartlett Theatre
ONE-ACT PLAY FESTIVAL Four performances May 6 - 8, 2026, at Bartlett Theatre. The One Act Play Festival will feature brand new short plays created by Fredonia’s own students. The festival will be under the guidance of Assistant Professor Daniel F. Lendzian. The students will be creating these one-act works in Fredonia’s playwriting class, so each one will be a world premiere. The Walter Gloor Mainstage Series
